It is hard to visualise how large the new store will actually be. It may help to know that Sainsbury in Beeston has a floor space of about 2800 square metres. The new store will have a floor space of 9185 square meters, so we are talking 3.3 times as big as Sainsbury!!

We have today addressed the views reagrding the new Tesco store .. there were 18 of us expressing views in a focus group environment. We propose that the new store should be in the shape of a crocodile.
